DOG BITE PREVENTION PROGRAM

This program, for school age children and Scouts, is a short presentation with large photos and lots of activities to teach children to understand the signs dogs send with their body language.    The central message of this program is “Be THE Tree”.    That is, stand still if a strange dog approaches or any dog is threatening or overly frisky. Children learn to be doggie detectives, looking for the clues that dogs give with body language to show how they are feeling. PREPARING DOGS for BABIES class

This program , for expectant parents and their dog(s), is a private in-home consult to get the 4 legged kids ready for the 2 legged baby! Learn how to get the dog ready for the baby room, baby sounds, and baby swing!

SERVICE DOG Demos and TRAINING

Penny owns and trained a  service dog and a hearing dog that she uses to educate groups about these special dogs.

 

PET SITTING -    

Initial meeting with Aunt Penny's in your home: FREE

Dog walks - $18 for half hour ( up to 2 dogs)

Pet sitting/house sitting in YOUR home : up to 2 pets: $18/half hour /$30 hour 

Additional pets: add $2 per visit

Holidays: $7 additional per visit 2010 Holiday listings-
New Years Eve & New years Day, Valentines (Feb 12 thru  15th),Easter Weekend( April 2 thru 5th), Memorial Day weekend (May 28 thru 31), July 4th weekend (July 2 thru 5), Labor day weekend (Sept 3 thru 6,) Columbus day weekend  ( Oct 8 thru 11)Thanksgiving Weekend  (Nov 25 thru Nov 29), Christmas Weekend (Dec 24 thru Dec 27th)

Overnight stay- Sitter at YOUR house (10pm-8am): $70
includes night and morning visit. may vary depending on needs. Holiday rate $95

Your pet at sitters home WITH PET TAXI: $60-$75 a day
includes any part of a day . All shots including bordetella must be up to date. Pet taxi included up to 30 miles round trip. ( .55 added for extra miles) Holiday rates are $95 a day.

 

Medication administration: $2  for up to 3 meds at one visit, $6 for 4 or more meds at one visit

Ready Key program (your key kept in our office all year): $20
one-time charge. All keys are locked up and insured.

Please call for daily, or weekly rates  for PRIVATE sitter at your home - the sitter will be at your house only during agreed extended hours and days for your pets personal needs.

Dog Training

Positive training with clickers and the levels course.

Phone consult new puppy owner (one time): 30 minutes free
pup must be under 4 months old

Private in your home training: $50 an hour
Travel rate will be added .55 per mile.

Private dog training in trainers home is $50 an hour no travel fee charge.

Phone consult/training : $25 per half hour

Pet Taxi-Errands

$30 service fee plus 55cents per mile to and from groomer, vet, airport, kennel, store, etc

over  30 minutes wait time is charged as $10 for every 15 minutes spent at vet, groomer or any other destination
